Terry Eastman, owner, started Eastman, Inc. in 2000 with 1 truck. Throughout the years the company has continued to grow and the need for more trucks was apparent. 

Eastman, Inc. now has 27 trucks, 21 belly dump trailers with an additional 10 trailers for doubles, and 11 dry van trailers. 

The over-the-road drivers haul cabinets out of Sisseton, SD. The cabinets are delivered to places throughout the United States, such as: Michigan, Maine, North Carolina, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and many states in between. 

The seasonal construction drivers haul asphalt/material in belly dump trailers for a paving company out of Odessa, MN. This hauling is usually done throughout South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota; and occasionally the borders of Wyoming and Nebraska. The road construction crew is typically on the road for two weeks and home every other weekend; depending on the job. 

Eastman, Inc. has expanded the scope of their trucking business into the mining of sand and gravel and has a pit located outside of Sisseton, SD. It includes a portable crushing spread to process materials of different sizes, which is then hauled out for various jobs.
